The Appreciation Project was created by Giftogram to help you recognize someone who’s made a real difference at work but might not always get noticed. We believe recognition matters, and that a simple thank-you can go a long way.

By sharing real stories of appreciation and helping you recognize someone who makes your workplace better, we’ll help you thank them with a $100 gift card of their choice.

We’re all thankful for our work besties, but we’re looking for a bigger story: We want to hear about a teammate, manager, mentor, or someone you support or who supports you.

Maybe they stayed late to help you meet a deadline, stepped in when a teammate needed support, or always remember birthdays and milestones that make people feel seen. If someone’s actions have made your workday—or your workplace—better, they’re worth nominating.

Fill out the nomination form and tell us why your coworker deserves recognition. You can be as brief or detailed as you like!

You can submit one nomination as part of The Appreciation Project, so we encourage you to choose the person whose story you most want to share.

That said, your appreciation doesn’t have to stop there. You can always recognize others with a Giftogram to say thanks.

Yes, we are starting with 50 appreciation moments. This means we will give out $5,000 to support gratitude and recognition. We are keeping the number small so we can give each story the attention it deserves. If you have someone in mind, please submit your story soon.

Entries will not immediately be made public upon submission, but if we love your story, we may reach out about using it across our website and social channels.

As such, please do not include any personal or private information that you or your nominee would not want others to see.

A Giftogram is a gift that lets the recipient choose a gift card from thousands of retailers worldwide, giving them the freedom to select the reward that matters most to them.

Options include hundreds of national brands such as Amazon, Starbucks, Grubhub, DoorDash, and Visa, as well as thousands of local retailers.

Giftogram will review all submissions internally. If your submission is approved, our team will notify you via email and share next steps.

You can choose between receiving a physical or digital Giftogram gift card. Physical gift cards will be delivered to your door for appreciation IRL, while digital gift cards will arrive instantly via email—perfect for coworkers near or far.

Please note that we will deliver the Giftogram to you first, so that you can share the moment with your coworker directly. Appreciation means most when it comes from you—we’re just here to help you share it.
